    i need to do some research for something. will it come back soon?

      best advice on the subject i can offer, sort by username or post and get yourself in the ball park..

      until the search comes back anyway..

                                              I agree the board is lacking without it. For research, for FAQs (repetitive threads like whats the best spyware killer etc.), and more.

                                              I hope they bring it back soon.

                                                                  Repetitive threads make the post count higher. From what I've seen that appears more important to this board management than functionality.
