                                  Keep in mind the black will be painted. I wasn't overly impressed with the paint job on my black case. Kind of wish I would have went for the brushed aluminum.

                                                              Black looks better, but one of the major points of one of these Alluminium cases is heat dissipation. The paint will have a negative effect on this. I'm assuming the silver one is just brushed alluminium. For that reason, i'd go for the silver one.
