I've used gmx.co.uk for a long time, they have their own spam filter and no limits that I've ever run into. Very nice service. They no longer have an english language site, though, so it helps to know German.. which I don't.email: [email protected]Comment

I much prefer Yahoo over hotmail. Bigger inbox and I like their spam controls better.
And while I have shifted over to using my domain email, free email addresses are still great when signing up for shit that you know is going to get you mad spam, but that you want anyway.Comment

I will never understand why you people use a free mail service with little to no e-mail security.
Hushmail uses 128bit SSL encryption to their servers, and OpenPGP for mail between Hushmail users, and if to users outside of the network if their PGP key has been uploaded to their servers.
You can also use their service with your domain, they calls it their Private Label service for $3.99 a month and worth every penny.

Yahoo is alright these days. They stopped counting your junk mail folder against your email quota a little while ago.
