owning a trademark doesnt neccesarily mean you can own the .com

There is a time period on trademarks, i rememeber this being a friend of the owner of i think it was digitalhome.com domain

digital home company tried sueing him for the domain, theyre trade mark was registerd some 3 years prior, and it got nowhere fast, they tried all the threats and never even went to a court I dont believe.

I think the law is like some 7 years the trademark has to be in existance, before they could do something like that, funny thing is 3 years later he just recently i seen sold the domain for like 7k

I wonder if he knew the time was up and he could now lose it ;)
