I have five cats who get Iams adult formula ONCE A DAY. Dump about a cup into the bowl and leave it. Let the cat decide when to eat, and you will soon see that it regulates its eating patterns and will lose weight. Make sure there's plenty of fresh water and do NOT give in to it when it howls and merowls for more food. It'll stop that shit in a few days and be just fine. Good luck.

Cats can't feed themselves. When morons who shouldn't have been allowed the responsibility of a pet in the first place drop them off in the country to get rid of them the cat usually dies. They can catch something here or there but unless they're wild from birth they're not up to living solely on what they can catch. We have a Bengal cat that has food in its bowl at all times. Our Bengal though is a grazer....only eats a little bit at a time. The cat is very long and skinny...so we need to keep the food out to make sure when it decides it is hungry there is food there for him.Comment
