Scientific Fact: Cold Climate builds character

Yes,
Scientist today have released the results of a decade long study on the effects of cold climates on industrialized populations.

Apparently, in a study of Canadians residents from Saskatchewan to the Maratimes, the ability to handle sub-zero temperatures for extended periods of time does, in fact build strength of character.

"Having to experience extreme cold at different points in the day builds a resiliency, that is, leaving the home and stepping into a freezing automobile, waiting for the bus, walking from the subway back to the home, frigid toilet seats are strengtening factors. Also, carrying gloves/mittens, scarves, touques, and wearing coats and sweaters and tshirts as well as long Johns and any other layers also build character." claim the scientists.

This phenomenon has also been used to explain what is known as the 'effin bitch' factor which affects both single men and women during this period.

Of course people in warmer climates also posses strength of character.....

but it's a scientific fact!
