    Why doesnt the "search" option work here????

    Or is it just me? When i click on the search function i get " Sorry. The search function has been disabled by the administrator. "

    I have e-mailed gfy but no replies?

    Anyone from GFY here can explain?

          It'd be nice to have it back, but it appears that some asshats like to perform DoS's using it.

          Lensman: Maybe a little code to add a 'search page available' option so you could turn it off for idiots trying to exploit you? I don't know how practical it'd be, but it sure would be nice to get searching back again.

                  I think its been disabled for like a whole month now. Its usually disabled for a month and then worked for like a week or two and disabled again. Thats what ive noticed

                          It would be nice if there was at least an official explanation.

                          Lack of search greatly reduces the value of GFY.

                              so was that the reason they banned ip's for people using rogers in toronto? i was told it was from a dos attack or something.
