OK... Similar incident - and it's real - I know the officers involved.

There was an assault in a bar - two officers arrived on the scene and first thing they see was an Irish guy who had just come thru the door of the bar and was "protesting" to people on the sidewalk and pointing to the back of his head.

He had an axe stuck in the back of his head and and was pointing to this and yelling "Look what they did to me!" :-)

Maybe the fact that he was intoxicated helped. He lived - some folks are *very* lucky!
