    Van Helsing SUCKED!

    I went out last night and saw this movie...
    It sucked

    I love good action movies
    I love good monster movies

    but this movie fell WAY SHORT of what I was expecting it to be

              No way, it was a good flick. Non-stop action, comedy, monsters....good old entertainment!

                          Couple things I hated:
                          1. How many times can someone hang from a ledge in one movie?
                          2. That sappy fucking ending (or the love story altogether)

                              Yeah. a friend of mine went in to see it, walked out an hour later and walked into "man on fire" playing in the theater across the hall. Said Van Helsing was the biggest piece of shit he ever tried to sit through. Good reviews for man on fire though.

                                                                          The best part of this movie was the first scene with the Werewolf
                                                                          after that...

                                                                          it pretty much went DOWNHILL


                                                                          Some things I noticed about the movie:

                                                                          What the fuck was up with how ineffective Van Helsings crossbow was?

                                                                          Also Frankenstien's strength was inconsistent....
                                                                          He could wrestle with the Vampires

                                                                          But couldn't break a few chains at times during the movie...

                                                                                                      If they would have went for an R rating it could have been so much better. That's the price they pay for trying to make a summer blockbuster.

                                                                                                      Here's just a few things they could have done to improve this movie:

                                                                                                      1. Nude vampire chicks (the female vampires in this movie had no nipples or genitals)

                                                                                                      2. Should have given Frankenstein a good bloody fight scene at the end (Why the hell wasn't he ripping limbs off of the vampires at the end? He was such a pussy throughout the whole thing he needed something like this for redemption)

                                                                                                      3. More blood and gore in general. That crossbow alone should have been impaling people in the eyeballs and doing lots of damage. Where were the gushers of blood and severed limbs?

                                                                                                      It was still entertaining but if you weren't absolutely in love with those Mummy movies then I would wait for the DVD.
