Sponsor Scam or Innocent Mistake?
I spent a year promoting 18 Honeys... using their suggested shortened CCBill link codes, generating galleries with their gallery generator, and using their templates.
The only problem is...
Those templates never passed the cookie like it was suppose to.
I was checking my affiliate links... pulled up a 18 Honey's gallery... and took a look at the source code.
This was embedded in the template code:
a href="hxxp://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=924879-0000&PA=&HTML=hxxp://www.18honeys.com/home.htm"
The problem is... my affiliate number is not passed in the citation. The link should read:
... CA=924879-0000&PA=589915&HTML ...
And it wasn't just one template... I found at least four. There might have been more.
I posted this at Xbiz and as you might expect, Dickmann et al came flying out of the wood work, stumbling all over them selves, saying that they were going to bump me up to 65% for life, just needed my personal information, gonna send me an email and do the right thing... bla bla bla.
I never heard anything. Nothing. Zip. Shit.
Since they never got back to me, I figured that they are full of crap and just didn't want me to post anything on another board. If I kept quiet... maybe I would go away.
So I figure... what the hell.
You all have a right to know that those Dickmann templates have been cheating you for a long time.
And Bruno... The funny thing is, I never really wanted anything from you.
But when you make a promise, whether it be to be an honest partner to your affiliates, or get back to someone in a timely manner, you should keep your promises.
