What about this 3D toon stuff...?

Anyone 'in the know' about this niche? It seems to have been all over the anime/toon/comix sites for a while now. More and more programs seem to be featuring this kind of computer-generated content with dedicated paysites, so there must be some profitability involved in producing it.

I'm curious if it's a growing niche that could eventually compete with anime, or is it just a passing fad? I have an associate who is looking for an investor to get something started in this niche, and he's asked me if I'd like to get invovled.

Anyone know anything about it's potential?

Tootie, if someone wanted to get involved in this kind of niche, what is the turnaround time on having exclusive content like that produced by someone like yourself? For instance, can someone commission the production of enough content to make a fairly competitive paysite (maybe a couple thousand exclusive images to start) in a 1 or 2 month time-frame?

Also, are movies/video of this kind of thing in high demand?

Hi, Cory. I've got you on my ICQ already (I'll message you so you know who I am). Actually, I'm looking at possibly get involved in this niche on more of a sponsor-level than an affiliate level. I'm aware of 3dpornland... looks like you guys got your game face on over there with that site, it's one of those that has me thinking about this niche.

I usually do sets of 20 to 30 pictures of the same model and I can do about 2 to 3 sets per day. So if I did 40 pictures per day on average, about 5 days per week, that would be about 800 pictures per month. So yes, 1-2k exclusive pictures could be done within a 1-2 month time frame.

Well, we've been trying to get a lead on the animated toons.
If we can find a producer or license holder for animated toons we can offer those folks an entirely new revenue stream for their content that in no way competes with ANY of their current uses, provides a continuing stream of income, and will get them an awful lot of collateral traffic.

I must admit I didn't have too much luck with 3D toon sites. Doin' mostly anime-hentai-toons but just no luck pushing 3D sites altough I have more 3d toons se traffic than hentai-toons se traffic.
Maybe I', just pushing wrong sites
