Here's a SERIOUS MISTAKE I made.

I spent the first 8 years of my adult internet business pretty much a solo, one-man operation.

I could count on one hand how many people I had on icq. I probably had 10 conversations over icq in those 8 years.

Don't make that same mistake.

Just this morning I got involved in a icq conversation with a webmaster who posted in my thread about blogs HERE

Turns out this webmaster owns and shoots the content for one of the first sites I ever promoted when I started in this business. I freaked - what a coincidence...

This person gave me some great business advice this morning - and I returned the favour.

Who knows how much quicker I would have reached this level if I made more of an attempt to network and let myself be known in this industry.

Don't make the same mistake... network, email people, ask questions (especially in my threads) and have conversations over icq. Help others... whatever you put out there will come back to you tenfold - you'll be amazed, I am.

never doubt the power of networking, but don't try to network with people by promising to deliver too much. That doesnt help.

I'm a networking whore from ICQ to the bar~LOL

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

So, I know most of you guys are on here during the day right? Is it rude to leave someone you don't know an offline ICQ message? I'm a night owl, and I work on my sites at night. There have been times when I've wanted to ask questions, but just didn't feel right leaving an offline at 2:30am.

Hahaha my ICQ always shows me offline. Keeps the trolls away that want me to join aff under thier code because they are so hot ... blah blah blah

Just leave a message is ok ... however I warn you ICQ is screwy the messages don't always come through.

I usually wake up to 4-10 messages every morning. Messages that people send while I'm offline. Perfectly fine.

I think one of the most important things everyone needs to do in this business is network.

I prefer networking at shows and getting to know people in person. I have a better feeling if I can trust someone or not from in person contact.
