I predeicted that our forces would have military control of the country in 10 days. It has taken 14 days longer than I predicted.

I predicted that there would be little, if any street to street fighting. I also predicted that if there were to be street to street fighting that it would not happen as classic street to street of old, with the Infantry being on point. There was little street to street and the Infantry was not on point.

I had stated that the Iraq Army was ill led, ill trained, ill armed and that taking Iraq would be a walk in the sun for our forces, and it was.

Where are all of those that said, it would take months-years just to take Baghdad?
