thanks for the input, fellows. those are some great programs, but I'm looking for something real simple, just to cut them up. I've got the clips thumbed, encoded, etc. Just need to split them up for download in a members area. Easyspliiter by http://www.doeasier.org is perfect for what i need, save for it doesen't do wmv files. Anything super easy like this?

I've used the program since it was released. It's SIMPLE to use and does just about everything. There have been a few updates and I have never heard one complaint. I think the price has gone up a little bit, maybe $10...but even then it's worth it.

I use the Boilsoft app to split wmv, asf, avi & mpeg every day. Great little program!

Within the microsoft media SDK was al a little tool in which could do this kind of job. But I am not sure if it's also in the 9er SDK version
