    Is being a spammer synonymous with scammer

    Reason i asked is becasue it seems most people on here feels spammers/mailers are scum, scammers, etc.

    Do they force people to sign up, do they put a gun to people heads to make them pull out their credit card. So if you feel a spammer is scum, scammer. please tell me the reason. and what's more funny are the ones who push those .15 toolbars talk bad on spammer/mailers,


    i'm in no way, shape, or form a mailer/spammer so my thoughts, opinions is not bias......

              does the fact the someone else murdered a person erase the fact that you rapped someone?


              spam FORCES porn and other crap on someone at a time when they are not receptive to it and provides NOTHING in return for that theft of time. no big deal when you get 10 spams a day - try getting 10,000 a day and having to sift though them casue you have to for your business and no filters will work cause you work in adult. Spammers must be slowly tortured and killed - and the auto install idiots deserve a much worse fate.

                                      To be honest, spammers bother me a lot less now that all my mail clients have bayesian spam filtering, so I dont really think they're evil.

                                      At the end of the day, they're doing it because there's money to be made. And until that changes, they'll continue. Fair play to them.

                                          I feel the same way, I used to spam. not anymore of coarse but there is money to be made. Fuck all them anti's. they're fucking bitches

                                              They aren't neccesarily SCAMMERS, but they are the lowest of the low. Are all telemarketers scammers? No. Does anyone LIKE telemarketers calling them? Doubt it. Maybe some lonely old people.

                                                  scammer is a nice buzz word that ppl who don't like spam toss around without any real thought.

                                                  sure there are some spammers who are scammers. phishers, the paypal scammers, ect. but overall spam is just another form of marketing, it might be slightly more aggressive marketing than simple websites but no more aggressive than pop ups, and not nearly as aggressive as auto installs.

                                                  i run my removes EVERY DAY. i try and only promote products that i think are worthwhile. i never sell porn sites or put erotic images in emails. there are responsible mailers out there.

                                                      A scammer is just a fucking dirt bag, taking credit cards and what not.

                                                      A spammer is like a fly. You know they are there, they keep buzzing around your head. And when you delete/kill one there is another junk email/fly in its place.
