Girls gone wild was the top advertiser for E (entertainment) television last year. They spent around $28 million in advertising last year alone. Girls gone wild made a little over 100,000,000. The owner Joe Francis walked away with $38 million profit.

And for the rest of you... 100 million? lol Are you guys crazy?

First of all if you did 1000 signups a day (using a round number) which would be a large program you figure only 25% of those signups go past trial. So 250x39.99 which after processing is really about 35 = $8,750 a day. Out of those they only stay an average of 1.5 months so that is anohter 12,000 over time. Now take away chargebacks, and credits and you are at about 10,000 a day. Then you have to pay your wembasters for those 1000 signups at 35.00 each (35,000)..... you are already down 10,000 dollars a day... So lets say you make 3k a day off dialers and another 3k off your exits. Not you are only down 4k a day... You see where I'm going.

Not to mention that we pay for bandwidth, servers, staff, content.. (reality sites costing 60-80k per) and so on.

There is much, much, much smaller margin then anyone has a clue of.
but its still enough margin to buy a few kickass cars ;-)

Grossing $40,000 a day is a LARGE amount for a sponsor. That will only get you 1.4 million in a year.

I know for a fact that NO sponsor does the $273,972 a day that it would take to do $100,000,000 a year. If anyone is saying they are, they are full of shit.

At $30 a month, that would take a yearly membership base of 3,333,333 users. So if you don't have that many users in a year pay for the service, shut the fuck up.

Globill did 1.2 million users for the entire year of 2003. So if you were using Globill as a proccessor last year then you are full of shit and should pipe it.

No way in hell anyone is doing 100m a year anymore..

That is 6500-10000 sales (first time, no trials and rebills) DAILY..

That is an active rebilling member base of 195,000-300,000. Nobody has a member base like that anymore.

Ummm.... I think $100mil / year is not impossible.

Considering actual active memberships as 70% of the gross revenue, it would require around 6500 sales per day @ $30 bucks / each. I know its a HUGE number, but do you really think its impossible? Consider that some companies have been aquiring affiliates agressively since the early 90s... and also have a lot of inhouse traffic.

                    Just a few thoughts...

                    Take care,

well estimates of the size of internet porn were around 1 billion a few years ago. i'm sure that its prolly around the same, if the 1 billion was in fact accurate.

so hustler has 35k members? say each member generates 40 bux each in revenue. thats 16.8 mil a year in revenue. thats about a 1.68% market share.

if the online market is worth about a billion, then there must be sites with a greater market share. 100 mil would be 10%. given the amount of competition that would be a pretty decent market share imo.

but then who knows what the value of online porn really is. i've seen estimates from like 250 mil to 1.5 billion.

maybe some big companies can show us some audited financials

Too many variables that need to be in constant supply to reach that amount, so I have to agree with Bruno.

Somethings gotta give. I read that if you took bill gates current net worth and broke it down into seconds from the time he started his company till now he would be pulling in a little over 1000 dollars per second if not more.

Think of all the backdoor security free advertising microsoft could sell. I imagine the demographic information, addresses, emails, surfing habits, etc..that they could collect without anyones knowledge alone is worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars a year range.

No no - That's already really common with a lot of affiliate programs sadly, they're going to bring in all of the strict guidelines, but are trying to milk the lack of prosecutions for as long as they can.

Your information is VERY wrong here. Danni's history is very closely tied to The SCORE Group's so I am speaking from first hand knowledge when I say that if your number was an attempt to jump a 10 ft high bar, you just went into orbit.
