In Canada the legal age to drink is 18, and I'm 19 and never drank. What is the point of drinking alcohol?

they cant be partying without it
when i was younger i drank every weekend.
i cant denie it was fun
but if you are drunk you do things you usually wont do when you are sober
but the hangover the next day was the biggest reason i quit drinking.

Most normal drinkers find alcohol to be a good 'social lubricant'. That is, it generally makes people feel more relaxed around others in a social situation.
...and many many more reasons.. however, I'd say that's how many people become introduced to alcohol.

I've never found it appealing either actually.
It's a choice thing. It's legal, so no biggy. I dont try to make people not drink, and they dont try to make me drink, so thats cool.
