A puplic blog service or your own domain and blog script.

I think the former.
They get spidered regulary and are given more trust.

Get a whatever.blogspot.com blog going that relates to your own hosted blog, include a paragraph of your actual blog and link to your blog (the full story) from there. Blogger is spidered fast and frequently and they'll find your own blog with no effort.

If blogger.com fits your needs then by all means use it. The main advantage with hosting your own is more flexibility in customization.

he is saying to create something at blogspot that points to your normal blog cause blogspot gets spidered quicker and in return your site will get spidered quicker
