Wait it out - my hunch is that she took the 'investment' thing as - I'm not paying for you anymore because I want to breakup. That's what happens when you get her used to your money, you remove it and she thinks there's another woman or a breakup coming along.

How serious were the two of you? How long have you been dating? I saw the gold digger thread and did not think the "how long" comment meant anything.

I was living with a guy for about a year and he came home one day and told me he invested his money and that I was going to have to pay all the bills for a while and my response was "WTF? For how long?" I'm not a walking wallet.

Edit: We had been sharing the bills prior to his "investment", I always paid for my own car, clothes, shoes, etc......
