Have you as a webmaster "grown?"

I'm one of those people who constantly need to learn, and develop new skills. I can't just tread water.

I go back and look at things I've worked on just 6 months ago that I thought was fan-fucking-tastic and just shake my head...LOL

I spend my free time analyzing things, learning new tips, tricks, searching through books, anything and everything I can to improve myself

As a designer I over analyze things. I study all forms of media from television commercials to print ads, even food packaging. Honestly I do...LOL

I'll look at how copy is laid out, what kind of fonts were used.
I've even taken styles from things I've seen on t.v. and incorporated it into my work.

Anyway...what are you doing to improve yourself as a webmaster in this biz?

in the last year and a bit i have learned more than i ever expected.. sometimes by just sitting down and talking with someone or just reading different thoughts and insights into specific things..

did learn the hard way with the recent events with the whole trust thing but myself i keep moving forward and i find my self motivated to learn as much as i can in the feild that im progressing in.. i also have started to venture into more things from what i have learned..

all in all alot came from msg boards like this and getting to know a few great people in the biz..

I'm kinda like you but not specifically in the field of graphic design, but i'm always thinking and brainstorming about how to innovate existing concepts, how to do things smarter, faster, easier... keep on trying to catch the essence of this industry...
