ATTN: Designers Logo Contest

I am going to give this one last try.

I need a logo for a TGP buddahsxxx.com
The TGP is going to be very low on graphics so I want a sharp logo. I was thinking about maybe a cartoon statue of Buddha flanked by a few girls. I am open to ideas however.

From looking at portfolios and prices $100 seems to be about the avearge fee.
I will offer $150 for the contest.

the background of the site will not be colorful. I can change that to go with the logo. I don't want any pastels or colors that are too bright. Go for it

I think the problem is that even if the price is competitive and fair, nobody wants to risk putting out all of that effort when somebody else might easily win. I do custom cartoon work (www.grim-kitten.com/illustrate/) and could use the money (and my prices fall below your prize amount), but I would rather spend my time working on things that I know will pay off and finishing illustrations for people that liked my work from the start.

If you don't get enough response from your contest you might want to re-check all of the available artists' portfolios or samples, choose someone you like, and just commission them to do the piece for you.

Good luck finding a design you like. =D

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

It was brought to my attention that I need a little more detail in my post about the contest and I agree.

The contest will end Thurdsay morning May 27. If there are no suitable entries the contest will be extended.

Contests are a good opportunity to show your design skills. I will buy the winning entry for $150 and award $25 to the 2nd place entry. I will also be buying a banner and button from the winner.

I like the image of the fat smiling Buddha, I am open to both cartoon and realistic logos, show your skills.
