I just read a few more posts in this thread.
My last post is simply responding to the title of the thread.
"Why affiliate programs shut down."
No suggestions of any sort towards any particular programs.
Cross sells are a killer, they are easily obtained and attractive to buy... but are very dangerous and can get out of hand really fast.
