Many RELY TOO MUCH and TOO EARLY on affiliate traffic to make their program succeed. The programs with longevity (in the case of programs that started fairly recently) are ones formed by guys who have their own independent sources of traffic.

i keep saying you have to make ur own money/signups before adding affiliates.. without ur own traffic, its very difficult to stick around
