    Starting a new lifestyle tomorrow

I will completely change my nutrition starting tomorrow. No fried food, no dairy, no soda, no more of that fast food shit and reduced portions.

I am not complaning about my weight too much (6'1 - 215 lbs, athletic type), but I want to live and eat healthier. G/f has been eating very healthy for months now, and she never gets sick, has very healthy skin and is overall feeling a lot better since she's changed her diet.

    Keepin it healthy!

Changed to that lifestyle half a year ago. Kinda hard in the beginning but you won't go back eating crap again! I can't understand I ate that unhealthy!

Indeed, no dairy. I haven't drank any milk for months, since I found out that it caused me farting and shitting so much (I'm lactose intolerant). Also, I learned that dairy causes unhealthy skin...

Oh and the bread ratios will be cut down to a minimum.

Yep I do the portion thing, flaxseed oil, veggies, fruits, no dairy (lactose intolerant). And my skin looks great and I eat high fiber foods alot mainly.

                That's great, Equinox

Don't be suprised though if you find yourself having withdrawal to certain foods the first couple of weeks -- like cravings for carbs, salt, or caffeine headaches (from the lack of)....

Soda is seriously one of the worst things you can drink, it's like liquified sugar. Brr.... I rather drink carbonated water instead.

This is the only way to go. I have substituted my dairy for soy products, not because I am lactose intollerant I just find I get alot more out of it.

Cool. Hope things go well for you. I've been eating extremely well myself and going to gym every day to every other day (doing cardio or weights) for awhile now. Just remember that you're still allowed some goodies every once and a while, of course try to make the best decision of what kind of goodie to eat. Going with no cheese would be hard for me, though I am going to try to cut down.

I take in a lot of protein, and I started excercising a lot more regularly. It really does change the way you live quite a bit.

I still eat a fast food sandwich once every month or two, but I'll be coughing afterwards....it just feels like grease is stuck to my throat and heading to my heart.

But like was mentioned above, don't "overdo" it. Just keep making sure you improve on what you were doing. Next month eat a little more healthy than last, etc.
