or do you enjoy gardening. I usually plant this past weekend, but being out of town of late, and the wet weather I am falling behind. I will have to still rototill it, then plant sometime this week I hope. Love the tomatoes right off the wine

I love my gardens.. I have two to three in my backyard every year. I planted almost all of my garden by the beginning of May.. except for my white sweet corn and pumpkins. I get so excited when i walk out every day to see how much has grown....
I just made homemade strawberry jam from my strawberry patch this year....
I see lots of canning in my future

I love to can and preserve the food I grow. I've canned and pickled and frozen most of my garden leftovers for a couple of years now. I started making pepper vinegar ( pepper sauce) and it quickly progressed to full on pressure canning & freezing of anything that would sit still long enough for me to grab.Originally posted by C_U_Next_Tuesday

My garage is in the middle of being torn down. Once its gone, I am using that patch of ground for my vegetable garden.
I am also putting in a flower garden around the sides of my house. Which is a pain, as it requires digging out all the current stuff and leveling it out so I can lay down allan blocks....Comment

I got mine in this weekend, except for my raspberry bush which still needs to be planted.

We just planted the second wave of plants. We've got corn, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, three varieties of tomato, three varieties of lettuce, spinach (which I'm not sure is gonna make it), bell peppers, pole beans, peas, a mixture of herbs and pumpkins. I think that's it. I'm not 40 either, but I am a woman. However, my dad enjoys gardening more than I do.Comment
