    When I was a kid on a tobaggen sled with friends we hit a tree and I was in front steering with three of them behind me. My head went into the tree and I broke my wrists and one of the bones popped out of the skin.

    Funny thing I didn't feel any pain at all for about a a minute because I had the wind knocked out of me from the crushing weight of everyone thrust forward into me from the impact.

    Fucked up thing my friends didn't realize my wrists were broken because we had heavy jackets on. So they started tossing snowballs in my face on the ground saying what a shitty driver I was.

    Once I caught my breath it felt like red hot irons were in my arm. When I pulled the sleeve up and saw my bone sticking out I passed out and don't remember waking up again until I was in the hospital with a cast on my arm.

            Putting my arm in the air and my thumb hit the ceiling fan. First 30 secs i felt nothing. I didnt even feel hitting it but after that it got bad, really bad. It was the only time since childhood that i cried because of the pain. Fuck that really did hurt.

                        broke my Sternum, was in pain for over 2 month, couldn't even laugh without it hurting. had 2 sleep at 45 degree angle for about 3 weeks, and it would take me 2 or 3 min.s to get out of bed.

                            the last two hours before I had my apendix taken out. It was the kind of pain that makes you babble about everything. Funny this is that now I have a high tolerance for pain even a shot at the dentist doesnt bother me

                                        When I was 14 years old my estranged father decided to get me a 10 speed. I loved that damn thing until I went flying over the handlebars and landed on my face. When I woke up from the impact my bottom lip was split down the middle. I could actually put my tongue in the hole. I never got stitches and now ppl comment on how nice my lips are cause it healed nicely. Little do they know.

                                        The next time and this is just great, I got my braces off at 26 and decided to get periodontal surgery. Mmm nice excrutiating pain that was, as they grinded into one layer of my gums to get rid of excess. I can still feel the prickly sensation my own flesh made when it hit my face from the drill and saw machine. Yeah fun

                                        The other time I was 6 years old, and loved to skate, was skating at the local church which we were forbidden to do. I was a fast little skater, and took a turn to fast and ripped off part of the left side of my face when I hit the stucco wall. It healed but damn that hurt. My family thought I would have to get skin grafts but it healed perfectly.

                                        The other time was a root canal that went bad. They forgot to take a big portion of the nerve out and when they shot me with water with the syringe in the little hole, my body went into shock. They had to stop and I went back in for 3 months after that until they finally extracted the tooth for good.

                                            I have a hydrocele. It is a build up of fluid in your testicles...mine is on one side.
                                            It's really tender and I have to have an operation.

                                            I went to my HMO back in Texas...they sent me to the wrong doctor. They sent me to an internist.
                                            They told me they would still have to check me out before sending me to the urologist.
                                            So before I even see the internist his assistant checks me out..does the old finger push on th eleft testicle.

                                            This hurt like hell.

                                            I'm demanding to know why I have to go through this when they are not even the doctor I need to see.

                                            So then the internist comes in..he's pushing like a motherfucker. I swear to god when he was finished my legs were trembling...but I put a stop to it...I said "NO MORE!."
                                            And pulled my pants up and told them to get me to the right doctor.

                                            I get to the urologist and he barely touches me..and when he did was extremely gentle. I could have beat the fuck out of those other two.

                                                    I got caught between a floor elevator and a steel bar when I was 19. This thing could carry 4 tons of products, sending it from ground level to the basement fridge. I was slowly being crashed by the elevator, 2 vains popped out from the pressure (I also had to do a small eye operation after) and I was all black in my back. As I started SCREAMING from the pain, a store manager just happened to be inside the fridge, next to the only stop button... This guy saved my life, if he wasnt there I would be cut in half.

                                                                                It would probably be when I had my ear sliced into two pieces. Was fighting with a guy in school and had my head bashed into a brick wall. The force sliced my ear into two pieces (both attached to my head). I lost so much blood that they had to call in two guys to mop the blood up off the floor of the hospital.
                                                                                Either that or when I got jumped with a hockey stick. Had the blade broken over my forehead and the shaft of the stick broken across my shoulder blades. My entire back was BLACK and I couldnt move my left arm for 3 days.
                                                                                Oh and I slipped a disk im my back when I was like 14 (dont ask). That still bothers me from time to time.
                                                                                Also cracked my jaw in two places in a bar fight.
                                                                                I've dislocated my shoulder twice.

                                                                                Theres gotta be more, but I cant think of it right now.

                                                                                            Was burned over 18% of my body with hot cooking oil. You could see way down into my skin into the muscle and nerves and what not. The burn itself hurt like a mother fucker BUT what was worse was a couple days after the burn the burn when all your nerve endings finally start to grow back. It's nothing but raw flesh and nerve endings and the rehab calls for a whirlpool with iodine or crystal based solutions to kepp infection away and when those nerver endings first grow back and you go in the whirlpool it feels like very bit of the tiniest part of your exposed flesh has a million needles pricking into your skin. Then of course you have to rub off and get rid of all the dead skin when you're done in the whirlpool. you do that every day for weeks and it sucks and is painful every time but the worst id that first two three days after your nerve endings grow back. I nearly blacked out from the pain that first whirlpool after they grew back.

                                                                                            I wouldn't wish burning on my worst enemy and if you ever watch the movie We Were Soldiers and have seen the asian guy who was a burn victim I can honestly say I would probably want one of my fellow soldiers shoot me in the head then have to go through the living hell of a recovery like that.

I tried to eat a steering wheel and broke several of my teeth when I drove a Mini into an Armco barrier at around 100mph. Both extremely painful accidents, but neither comes close to the pain of angina.

                                                                                                                                            I don't know how many of you ever get really bad cramp in your calf muscles? Angina is similar, but worse and it affects your chest, so it's also scary because you wonder if an episode is coming ahead of a heart attack. A nickname for angina is "the paralyzing disease", and it's very apt because if you so much as lift a finger, the pain intensifies further. Sometimes it only lasts maybe 5 minutes. Other times for hours. You feel like you have been beaten up for anything up to 12 hours afterwards.

                                                                                                                                            Nitro-glycerine pills and spray work miracles, although you get a thumping headache from using them and if the attacks are too frequent, you just have to sit them out.

That brings back lovely memories of one day when I was making Thai food, slicing Thai peppers (without gloves) and, without thinking, rubbed my eyes. (I wear soft contacts.)

                                                                                                                                                            I thought I was going to have to gouge my eyes out with a spork (sorry for the visual) and was pretty sure I'd ruined the lenses. Ended up soaking them in milk, followed by an enzyme treatment, two days in a row, and all was well. (Just a little Heloisian Hint, should anyone be as stupid as I was.)

                                                                                                                                                            WORST pain ever was probably the time I broke my foot, because that's the only pain I ever thought I was going to pass out from. But it happened after work at a restaurant, and my friends carried me back inside and got me very drunk very quickly, so I don't really remember the pain...good times...

                                                                                                                                                                        - When I was about 11 I had a bee sting on my foot. I was (and am) allergic and a few days later it ballooned up to four times its size and I was throwing up. They took me to the Emergency room and in order to treat it (ie cut it open and drain a ton of puss) they had to give me a shot in the sole of my foot. I can't even explain how badly that hurt. It actually traumatised me to the point where I will freak out if a bee is anywhere near me.

                                                                                                                                                                                At the hospital,,,then had to give me a shot directly into the bone to get it to stop bleeding.

                                                                                                                                                                                Then I had a car accident and shattered my pelvis in 8 areas,,,spent 3 weeks in the hospital.
