I know next to nothing about bic editors. Leto seems to screw files up so I used it only a short time, preferring to have players litterally recreate a character from scratch rather than make changes that will make trouble.Comment

But frankly I don't see a lot of value in this, as there are such limitations on the amount of text you can have that way. I think. You need to work up the Conversation Piece in your own demo module and convince Them to allow it. I use a unique one for each character, but you could implement one that is used for many characters, coding its startup script to identify the character you are possessing at the time. That way once this is implemented only the conversation files need be changed. And perhaps custom scripts for things like Bartender_Carries_Drink_To_Table, etc.Comment

If you wish to store text for later replay and you don't wish to type all of it, the DMFI Voice Wand can record phrases that you can them make any NPC or yourself "play back" when you wish.Comment

Give them a situation when asking questions or eliciting clues will get them somewhere more interesting than rapidly clicking through canned dialogue and they will likely be sold on the idea of DM run conversations.Comment
