Also, like the others say, how did they know that you were in the adult industry ?? I've been cashing sponsor checks for many years and I don't think that they have a clue. In the past, I even cashed checks from "Raw Like Sushi", he he he.

I forgot to add the following point.

A bank can decide not to do business with you based on what type of business you operate, but they don't have the right to exclude certain checks from being deposited. It is an all or nothing. Remember: Checks are legal tender. If the account has money, the bank has to accept it. Should your bank deny an individual check based on providence, you should file a complaint at the nearest Federal Reserve Bank.

I was once told by the bank manager of a local Bank of America branch that they don't want my business anymore. My account was always in good standing and the reason he gave was that he did not want his bank associated with this type of business.

Bullshit I say. I did file a complaint with the Feds on that. This was a long time ago, though.
