My bank was robbed this morning

I woke up around eleven, took a shower, and went to the bank. The place was cordoned off by the cops, with bunch of plainclothes interviewing witnesses. There wasn't an ambulance though, so I guess nobody was hurt. Before leaving I spoke briefly to one of the secutiry guards and he told me that the bank had been robbed.

I'm so glad that I wasn't there half an hour earlier ;)

I sincerely hope they get shot by the cops, and I really really mean it. Call me sick but every time murderes, rapists, armed robbers etc get shot by the cops I see it as a good news.

Banks get robbed all the time, usually just a guy with a note quietly getting his loot and getting the fuck out.

I used to own a computer store in a strip mall with a bank in the center, nice neighborhood, and it would get robbed about once every 4-5 months.

Once, a guy who robbed it went by me as I was pulling up to the back of my store (I didn't know that he had just robbed the bank).

When I saw cops at the bank, it dawned on me that the guy seemed odd, wearing a baseball cap down tight on his head and dark sunglasses carrying a small backpack and in a hurry, and went and gave a statement to the police. They acted like it happens all the time, no biggie.

I guess the banks like to keep it kinda quiet.

The bank is in one of the most expensive suburbs of Pretoria, the robbers chose to do it today because it's the end of the month and a lot of people deposit cash.

From what I've heard in the USA many times it's one guy that robs a bank, but not in South Africa, here it's usually an armed gang of at least 6 people......

you live in a hardcore country! dont they have special "safety" options for the cars that you cant get in the states?
