    US making themself an assh... at the UN : morons!

    This administration and it's phony morality :

    US Pushes UN on Abortion Declaration

    UNITED NATIONS (AP) -- Ten years after the world's nations pledged to achieve equality for women, a follow-up meeting has become embroiled in controversy over a U.S. demand that its final declaration state that women are not guaranteed the right to abortion.

    In informal consultations ahead of Monday's meeting to take stock of progress in implementing the landmark platform adopted at the 1995 U.N. women's conference in Beijing, the United States raised the abortion issue as a first order of business.

    The U.N. Commission on the Status of Women, which organized the high-level meeting, had hoped the two-week session would focus on overcoming the roadblocks to women's equality in 12 critical areas from health, education and employment to political participation and human rights.

    But the dispute over abortion is likely to dominate the headlines and the closed-door debate on the final declaration.

      And one wonders why the rest of the world thinks little of silly Americans. We're 50 years behind Europe on social issues.

      My theory is that the average number of people per square mile is so much higher in Europe that Europeans are forced to learn to get along and figure out how to live in such close proximity without choking each other.

      Meanwhile we in America have wacko militias stockpiling weapons on their zillion acre farms in Idaho.

                  The two organizations that have been proven to be crooked in the last few years have been the U.N. and the democratic party. The big three media outlets have forgotten to report on this.


                  I always wonder why democrats allow themselves to side with entities that are in driect competition with the United States of America.

                  You are asking the United States to endorse something that the majority of its citizens have voted against. That doesn't sound right!

                      People left Europe and started this new country because of the failed social issues. Our country is working pretty good since then. I would say you have that backwards.

But one has to remember that a fetus has absolutely NO business developing inside the womb of a woman who is isn't prepared to be a mother. So I suppose that must be a capital crime against society. At least the U.S. Supreme court equates it thus.

                                                                                                                                                                      If you don't want to hear "liberal pussies" complain that the US is in violation of legislation - such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (which describes how a goverment is to treat it's own citizens), the Geneva Conventions (which describe how a government treats citizens of other countries), the Bretton Woods Agreement (international economic order), several WTO rulings (the administration of the new international economic order) - then your presidents shouldn't sit down and sign these agreements.
