Ok a quick tutorial:
Say you have signed up for a trade and need to send him unique hits. You can:
A) Send him the hits fairly
or
B) Send him hits unfairly using a hitbot.
How does a hitbot work?:
Basicly a hitbot goes to website pretending to be a normal surfer. So the trade you signed up with sees a normal visitor and sends you a real visitor back even though you sent him a false visitor with the hitbot and he loses out bigtime. Please note that you could also be on the receiving end and it would not so funny losing all that traffic.

Preventing a hitbot:
Look at request headers for proxie traces.
Ban the proxies used by the hitbot.
