Looking at my options on my points -

Canon Elura70 - seems solid

Sony Handycam DVD Camcorder - records to a dvd. my experience is that tech is not durable. My cd burner in my laptop is toast. costs more so might be better.

Anyone own of of these are know what I should look for?? Going on vacation so just for fun not for content.
