    Any hockey jersey collectors around?

    Seems like there are quite a few hockey fans around here. Just wondered if any of you collect game worn hockey jerseys.

    I spend way too much money on them but I am addicted. Spent some big $ on an iginla jersey that will be used in the stanley cup finals. Now that tampa is in, hopefully I can grab an andreychuk and st louis from the finals as well.

          I know a guy that has been doing that also. I'm more into getting authentic jerseys signed and framed etc. Gameworn stuff is too expensive for my blood.

              Hi Shemp, I am a huge hockey fan. I might be interested in a bertuzzi.

              Sosa, authentics are by the thousands, real gamers are just a few hundred over an entire players career. Many current players can be had for a few hundred bucks. Try a few real jerseys with good game wear of guys just starting out. Martin St Louis jerseys were a few hundred a few years ago, now they are going for big money.

                  We have a Federov jersey from when he was playing with the Penguins in Moscow, but I don't know if it's a game worn jersey or not.

                      I have a bunch of jerseys but they arent game worn. When it comes that kind of stuff I just collect autographed photos of the players.

                          My prized possession is a jersey Lemieux wore in Salt Lake, autographed.

                          An Iginla from the finals would be sweet.

                              My wife makes me buy her hockey jerseys on Ebay sometimes. I have no interest in them.

                              I do own a pretty large collection of comic book character baseball and football jerseys though. :P
