Baloney. With VR rated tires the maximum safe speed is 165 MPH.

If you have ZR rated tires you can hit over 185 and still have a safe margin.

Late model M3s have the top speed electronically limited to 155 mph. Even removing the limiter with the base HP in the 340+ range the M3 does not have enough horsepower to break the wind resistance needed to crack 300 kmh.

It would have to be a seriously modded M3 minus the limiter to crack that speed. Out of the box not a chance in hell.

Edit: The original poster did say

That is believable. Out of the box M3 no way.

140 in my old mustang in about a half of mile had to slow down because the front end started shakin very badly later one of my headlights feel out what a peice of shit car

132mph in my old S13 240sx, JWT chip put my gov. at 132mph, so it wouldnt push any futher... thats better then the stock computer allowing only 110mph..

but i was with my friend mike in his GenIII Eclipse GT and we hit 165mph... thats the fastest i been so far
