Here's what will probably be my last word on the subject (unless I say something else...)
I made a famous post condemning the lack of imperical evidence from the famous Screen Caps of November, and after seeing the links in question, and noting that even yours truly was being shaved (I was set at 25%, that must be for preferred webmasters) I'll have to weigh in with a guilty verdict.

I haven't seen the site just the screencaps... so I can't verify. Prolly someone has more insight here... but can't it be that 'Joins' just refers to the join page hits and joins reported are the real joins? Cause form what I've seen so far all the accounts on the screencaps have yummy ratios of 1:50. That's even for SE an excellent result. But if it's TGP traffic then it's still good when you take the uniques:joins reported... 1:800

A sponsor lives on his rep with affiliates. Get caught shaving and risk the reputation. Not all sponsors rely on affilaites for 100% of their income anyway. Will PIB make it through this? I note their site is back up and acting like nothing was wrong for the most part. Their webmaster ad says we don't shave!
