Maybe your history books have been edited. Read about those things called WW1 and WW2. Also, read about a thing called the cold war. Its safe to say that if the U.S. didn't exist, Canada wouldn't have had the opportunity "stay neutral".
I have high respect for Cananda and their natural resources, but lets dont go to far.
I'm not quite sure that the U.S. would crumble if Canada stopped giving us handouts.
If Canada's natural resources are that high on everyone's shopping list, its safe to say they only still belong to Cananda because of millions of 21 year old american kids in tanks and choppers.
