Thing is the US did not stand together, a few did and more sold out. Us here in Europe will pick up the business for you.
FD sold out based on a business decision, much like whether to shave of not to shave is a business decision.

i ,m only a small operator,but this is what happened,
Fedex transported some goods for me..24 hr delivery...for reasons unknown they said the shipment got delayed..and it arrived 2 days late ..they still sent me the bill $150 ..i said ..no im not paying on principle..they said ok we will sue you ...
Now most would pay i guess as its only $150..but NO we brits are made of stronger stuff than that....So it ended in a court battle ...lil me v fedex....the outcome i won representing myself against 2 lawyers employed via fedex total cost to them $12,000.........Was i scared f**k yes i was 12k would have been a huge hit ..but its all about PRINCIPLES.. and i wasnt gonna pay $1 for something that i felt wasnt RIGHT.
So Yes FD and others should have fought on a matter of PRINCIPLE.
