Ego. When I was alot younger I wanted to have my BBS be more popular than a certain asshole I very much disliked. So I found a way to add in naughty pictures in my download area. It was real expensive at the time but right afterwards users started asking for more download credits and said they would be willing to pay for them. Proverbial lightbulb went off and I bought every bit of stuff I could find and shortly there after I got up the balls to ask someone to pose for more stuff.

I started off as a silly summer project and didnt even expect to make any money.. it was purely for my own entertainment and learning some html and photography...

then after working at it a few months i had 50k and figured it would be a good idea to keep at it

I really enjoy working at home
coming up with ideas and trying to execute them
it's fun.. but not always easy.

still better than working a regular job though

Wow, great answers. I, personally, like the fact that I can be myself and look and dress how I want. I'm not too extreme, so it's never been an issue, but I worked at a hotel once and had to have my hair a certain way and I had to take my earrings out. I really hated it. The good thing about working in content sales is that people won't refuse to buy content just because the sales guy has a shaved head. In fact, when I had a mohawk I had more people recognise me because of that more than anything. People would come up to me at conventions and say "Hey, you're Don!!!" LOL.
