lol that game was fucking awesome. We played so many custom maps of it. metropolis and street were the ones I really remember. Played that hours and hours. Would dial up my friends and play, good shit.

it contains the new port, the duke 1.3d files, and custom.kgi (if you plan to play via http://www.kali.net/, put this file in your kali folder so it will detect it by restarting kali then scanning for games.)

unzip, configure, and off you go!

Duke Nukem was my first eperience of WAN multiplayer, fking loved that game, tis definately one of the best PC games of all time. Used to do Dialup 56k with my mate, good times.

it uses directx to do the rendering so you shouldn't have to do anything there...

build was the old engine to create maps and stuff... instead, run setup.exe, configure away, and do save and run duke. should work fine

setup doesnt say anything bout that 3d shit, just the standard soiund and video options...

when i just play it the aliens and those other water creatures and stuff are still all 2d, not like the pic on that site...

well old duke was only 320x240 no vesa drivers even

if you see sound/video options, you'll see like 1024x768 32bpp, etc... anything with 16bpp/32bpp and higher rez will yield better visual quality... ;-)
