                                                What rhetoric and who's a pundit? I can't say for sure what Gore would have done, but in that quote he's advocating Bush's exact policy. He's saying as long as Saddam is in power we can just assume that inspections won't work and he will always have wmd and we should organize a coalition (no mention of UN) to eliminate his access to them.

                                                edit: are you saying Gore is full of shit and doesn't really mean what he says? If that is what you're saying I think I would agree.

Assuming inspections won't work and forming a coalition to eliminate Saddams access to wmd. Since Gore's coalition never happened neither you or I can say if it would have been any different.
