    Republican Senate aide fired for publishing sex blog

    An entry-level staff assistant to Sen. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio, was fired Friday after an Internet journal of her sexual exploits was made public this week.

    "After investigating these allegations, our office has determined that there was an unacceptable use of Senate computers to post unsuitable and offensive material to an Internet Web log," the senator's office said in a statement.

                                                  Man, I was prepared to be totally outraged after seeing the title of this thread, but she so deserved to be fired. This kind of shit is a disgrace to women and makes a mockery of her job: "I have a "glamour job" on the Hill. That is, I could not care less about government or politics, but working for a Senator looks good on my resume. And these marble hallways are such great places for meeting boys and showing off my outfits!"

                                                                  She came up with a gimmick that she knew would attract attention -- doubtful it was something she was really doing. There are so many GOOD reasons to fire her I don't think the Washington sex scandal reason was the only one. I'm all for free speech but it sounds like she engineered all of this for what she hopes will be a book deal like lots of high profile bloggers have gotten.

                                                                                              btw- her name is Jessica Cutler. She worked in Mike DeWine's (R-Ohio) mail room. RS is supposed to be Robert Steinbuch, a Judiciary Committee staff member, and MD is Matt Doyle from Joseph Lieberman's office. I think there are two or three guesses about who the married Chief of Staff is, who was paying her for sex.
