For some fucking reason, lately, I will be online for a while.. but if my machine goes to a screen saver, or somethings nothing at all different, it will drop connection to the network. When I reconnect, it will keep connection for 5 seconds, then drop off agian. This little bullshit dance will happen like 40 times before it will stay online for any amount of time. Anyone know how I might be able to fix this? It's VERY frustrating.. Thanks in advance!

It could be your computer is powering down your NIC. I have a wireless USB NIC and everytime the screen saver kicks in or the laptop goes into powersave it turns off the NIC. I usually don't have any problems reconnecting after returning though.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

See if you can change your ssid and your channel on the AP. Maybe you have a neighbor interfering.
Also make sure when the screensaver kicks in its not going into sleep mode.
Someone also told me that cordless phones can fuck with wireless.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment
