In all honesty, they taught us very little about Canada. Until I started slinging porn and realized that 75% of Canadians work in this area, I had almost forgotten it existed.
I remember US history, and I remember studying almost every continent and major nation in World History, but it's like we just skipped over Canada. And I'm not even joking.
I was kind of embarrassed when I first started "meeting" all you online Canadians because I really had to do a refresher geography lesson to know where all the cities were and which providences they're in.

I have talked to them and also when I was a student (UofT) in toronto that education is the USA schools is bullshit..
it's a controlled and a need to know bases. actually most canadian schools teach kids/students at a very young age like my son he's 6years and he knows some of the cities that are talked about in class..
if the shoe was on the other foot like asking that child in any american school i'll bet then won't know jack shit..
go on over to europe and they know whats going on forsure..
also some colleges/Univ are free to attend..
the education system is pretty advanced and known to be very knowledgeable. those are the facts for a very large country the USA sure doesn't teach much.. i've even heard this from students
going to school in vancouver/canada here that there degrees they achieve are of higher standards and open more doors. around the globe..they would much rather do there schooling here and it's cheaper for one thing.. my opinion and the facts are there as well. good day..

Sure, the average person here on GFY probably (I hope) knows the real score... if for no other reason than the fact that you deal with canadians in business on a daily basis. But lets face it, the average american is fairly ignorant about canada, and 50% of the population there is below average. We seem to get a fair number of that demographic either coming north and looking confused, or interrogating us about faux-canadiana when we go south.

The only time I have even addressed anything about you was after someone else started a thread about you ICQ spamming them, and it turned out that they too had asked you if your program had a PPS option, and you did not know what PPS meant.
Now, it is understandable that everyone may not know all the abbreviations out there, but when at least 2 or 3 people have the same experience, then it is inexcusable. The first time someone explains what PPS means, you should remember it an hour later when someone else asks you the same fucking question.
