Widdall due respect to the thread titled " Have you ever had a fist fight with a clown " I had to recall how a friend of mine wants a Ventriloquist dummy for a birthday present.
There's a store that sells them on Hollywood Blvd. I had wanted one as a kid but it was FORBIDDEN because EVERYBODY was afraid of ventriloquist dummies and clowns. I think it was because of that Twilight Zone episode where the dummy kept after somebody and killed them or they turned into the dummy or some weird ass shit like that.
I grew up with Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smith. They were funny. But nowadays you try bringin' a ventriloquist dummy around and people will shoot you.
Same with clowns. I grew up with Bozo and Emmet Kelly but nowadays you bring any clown around other than Ronald McDonald and you might find your ass the center ring of the local emergency ward.
