Agree!!
There is no other choice at this time - any offered are bs and further commitment with strings attached. It's like wanting to sink deeper into a shit swap and get your head submerged :-)
sonofsam: If you are based in Canada (Canadian citizenship), get the hell over to the EU and establish a corp there. It can either be a standard non-resident corp or an "offshore" in eg.. Gibraltar (but time in running out to do this in Gib, - act soon if you want this).
Also check out the obstacle course on, eg CCBillEU.com - but it is worth the effort! You can then also use other EU processors as well as backup.
