One of the cutest places I've ever been in was just north of SF on 101, Stinson Beach.
The city itself is very small, but what's good there is the sea food. Sun was shining, perfect view over the ocean and a huge plate of Oysters. Life couldn't get much better
I don't know about Oysters now, but it's definitely worth going there to have good sea food with a view.
If you like garlic, you should go to
Stinking Rose. You will STINK for couple of days after though
