If you go forward with it, make sure to find an airfield that isn't too busy. You spend way too much time on the friggin ground with that engine clock running waiting in line to take off. I received my training at Van Nuys Airport, the busiest general aviation airport in the country, if not in the world. You could spend 15 to 20 mins just waiting for clearance to take off. Training must run over 75 bucks an hour now.
