aren't there programs that do thumbs in batch ?
it takes a 20 lines script anyway.

Cropping to 75% and auto-adjusting levels does not necessarily make a good thumb. Until they make those programs with an AI component they will never compare to a hand cropped and adjusted thumb.

I see your point but I was reffering to the resizing part only.

resizing can still be done with photoshop batching.. so photoshop is the software to use for these things

yes but resizing the whole image doesn't produce the best quality thumbs. Cropping by hand allows you to pick the most attractive part of the picture to use at your thumb.
