So I go to the Player's Ball. I am again VIP with a top billing. Walk right up, show them who I am, they let me in and a bouncer escorts me to the VIP suite and tells me to have an awesome time. How is that for kick ass security?

That's too bad about the door at Jungle Bash. I'm telling you, most parties that get over 1,000 webmasters in Vegas will have moments when the door has issues. People are pretty harsh on the Players Ball, but the reality is, it happens at all of the big parties even if it's only for a 20 minute period during a mad rush. People will slam away on the boards and not consider that sometimes it truly is out of a promoters hands. Venues ultimately run the venue, not the promoter. Sometimes a venue is on top of things and it works out, I've been lucky a few times. I can be standing next to the manager and security team and all of my people, yelling at the manager to let my people in now, and they'll tell me that they're doing their best and not to worry, everyone is getting inside shortly. I mean, what can I do at that point? Not a damn thing but cross my fingers and hold my breath.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback and experience. Lot's of people got inside without a problem, just depends on what time you arrived.
