This is an interesting thread.
GFY is an allegory; the evolution of this board I think parallels the evolution of the industry as a whole and what you are seeing is change in a clear form.
A lot of doors are being closed and a lot of windows are opening right up.
It's seeing it with a narrow view that prevents a lot of old timers from benefiting from all that has changed.
